Eunhee Park visited the TNKR office yesterday for classes with tutors Debbie Roberts and Kaina Ortiz. It is amazing to see her speaking in English. She joined TNKR almost two years ago at a basic level, and now she is laughing and joking in English! 2017-02-07 “TNKR gave me my name” Eunhee Park

I used to say, “Today was a special day,” but these days, it seems that every day is special. Super special North Korean refugee Eunhee Park had class with one of her tutors. Then we talked about TNKR’s upcoming activities and ways that she can be more involved.

When we told her about our new fundraising site, she immediately set one up. She is a thoughtful lady. We can be talking about something really simple, then she will suddenly say something profound.

2017-01-20 More Lazy Volunteers

Clearly, TNKR needs a better screening process for volunteers.

The duo that came in yesterday only wanted to play games and watch movies. They ignored everything I said. Then… they discovered the candy. They completely lost their minds, demanding to have more, more, more!

TNKR assistant academic adviser Youngmin Kwon had a lot to do, but they wouldn’t leave him alone to do his own work.
