The arrest then death of American tourist Otto Warmbier grabbed headlines around the world. People who barely pay attention to North Korea’s human rights abuses began taking notice after this case.
There are many others who have been abducted or arrested by North Korea who have gained much less attention. The 4th Teach North Korean Refugees Global Leadership Forum will highlight some cases that have gotten less attention.
