North Korean refugee author Eunsun Kim will be discussing her book “A Thousand Miles from Freedom” on Saturday October 6 from 6 pm at the TNKR office. She will be discussing her life in North Korea, her escape, and her adjustment to life in South Korea.
She escaped to freedom, but then what comes next for North Korean refugees as they adjust to life in South Korea or in other countries.

Eunsun has a long history with TNKR. She joined the organization in June 2014, and has studied on-and-off since then with volunteer tutors and coaches. In February 2015, she was the winner of TNKR’s 3rd English speech contest. The event will be sponsored by Unikorea.
