Important: After you have completed all of the items on the checklist then your application will be considered complete.

Here’s Casey Lartigue Jr.‘s summary about the most recent TNKR Matching session.
What: (TNKR) Teach North Korean Refugees is seeking tutors for its 54th language matching session. The special thing about this session: It will be geography based. That means, you will be signing up at this session agreeing that you will tutor in the Hongdae, Yeonsi, Ewha, Gwangheungchang, Hapjeong area. You can live anywhere in the world, but you must be able to tutor in those areas nearby our office, no exceptions.
When: The Matching session will be held on Sunday March 12, the mandatory Orientation will be held on Saturday March 11.
WHERE: at the TNKR office near Gwangheungchang line 6 exit 4 (two stops from Hapjeong, six stops from Itaewon station).Who: YOU!

Why: Refugees keep telling us: “I need English!”

How: Sign up here! We invite refugees based on the number of tutors who sign up and complete the application process.

Note: Follow the easy three step process here, and remember: Do it right, or do it twice. (Many fluent and native speakers don’t read the simple instructions, then must re-do their resumes a second time.)

Note: All incoming and returning tutors are expected to make a good faith attempt at fundraising.
