(TNKR) Teach North Korean Refugees is seeking volunteer tutors to help North Korean refugees improve their English.
Saturday, June 10
–2-3:50 pm, Track 1 Orientation
–4-5:30 pm, Fundraising Brainstorming session
Sunday, June 11
–2-4 pm, Matching session
–4-4:20, Review policies
Important: After you have completed all of the items on the checklist then your application will be considered complete. We give first preference to tutors who have done so, then choose others based on available space.
What: (TNKR) Teach North Korean Refugees is seeking tutors for its 58th language matching session. This will be an open session, meaning that tutors and students will negotiate about meeting times, days and places.

When: The Matching session will be held on Sunday June 11, the mandatory Orientation will be held on Saturday June 10.
WHERE: at the TNKR office near Gwangheungchang line 6 exit 4 (two stops from Hapjeong, six stops from Itaewon station).
Why: Refugees keep telling us: “I need English!”

Note 2: Yes, applicants must attend both the orientation and matching session on back to back days.
Note 3: All incoming and returning tutors are expected to make a good faith attempt at fundraising.
